This study tries to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on poverty in Indonesia. This study found that the Covid-19 pandemic impacted Indonesia's shock of increasing poverty.Furthermore, based on variance decomposition, it was found that the Covid-19 variable heavily influenced the different fluctuations in the poverty variable in Indonesia. Based on this, it is time for the Government, both central and regional, to jointly overcome the main problem, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, to prevent the increasing poverty in Indonesia. However, at the same time, government policies are needed in social assistance, which must be immediately distributed to the community to prevent poverty in Indonesia.
