Abstract
A rising trend of educational cost has been affecting the number of students entering universities at each level. This essay indepthly reveals factors behind the constant rising at the educational cost, the forms of commercialization of higher education, and poor government policy to deal with the problem. ln many cases, the research indicated that many higher education institutions gives priority on the importance of registration and tuition fees rather than their abilities in fulfilling their social responsibiIities. Generally also the service the higher educations given are not comparable with the registration and tuition fees the students paid as they started to study. The write argued that this situation will cause people's decision not to enter universities to avoid such an expensive cost which must be shouldered.
