Abstract

Leader’s performance, organizational culture and communication, and academic services are determining factors of private Islamic higher educations’ quality. Its weaknesses will consequently be harmful to their existence. The research is conducted to determine the influence of leader’s performance, organizational culture and communication, and academic service to the performance of the private Islamic higher educations. Its research method adopted survey, which has been combined with a quantitative approach, with questionnaires sent to 53 lecturers and 53 students, and its data analysis techniques used WMS and path analysis. Field research was conducted in the West Java’s private Islamic institut, whose findings reveal that all the factors have given positive and significant impacts. To improve their performance quality, the writer recommends the private Islamic higher educations to enhance their organizational culture, effectiveness of their leaders’ performance, communications, and academic services, as well as their vision, mission, goals, and strategy
