PENCAPAIAN STATUS KESEHATAN IBU DAN BAYI SEBAGAI SALAH SATU PERWUJUDAN KEBERHASILAN PROGRAM KESEHATAN IBU DAN ANAK

Abstract

Mother and child are groups that are vulnerable to health problems. The mother and child health program (KIA) has been deemed not going well so that Indonesia is one of the countries with high MMR in ASEAN. This study used qualitative methods that are literature studies. The analysis uses books and other literature as the main object to answer research questions. This study is intended to provide information and analysis related to the achievements and several factors that influence the achievement of the health status of mothers and babies, and future expectations for better. The findings obtained the achievement of the health status of mothers and infants have reached the national target, but there are still some provinces which achievements are below the national achievements. Geographical factors, limited facilities, and infrastructure, as well as the low level of local government support also influence the success of the MCH program in several provinces.
